So the discussion on Saul vs. Breaking Bad got me doing a rewatch of BB Don’t know if it’s legitimate mental illness on my part, but even in knowing what happens in the end.. ..I legitimately still cannot bring myself to like Skyler. Like, cmon. Stop giving ur meth kingpin husband the cold shoulder.

honestly that's the only weak link in the whole series, weird character plot would have been better if she became addicted to the money but then demanded he stopped. much more realistic

Honestly I think she’s a perfectly relatable character, strangely Like, objectively, she’s very flawed but realistic. People often don’t really have character arcs, they’re just reactive to their environments. That relationship used to just be Skyler wearing the pants. It got flipped and I guess the power struggle eh.. sort of continued. Both her and Walt are essentially control freaks. We just gravitate to walt a lot more since, well, he’s the main character and we essentially see a lot of the show through his eyes.

iirc she's very relatable up until the cold shoulder part, it's not exactly explained why she switches up in hindsight maybe that's part of it. that's also when Walter was losing control. so perhaps that's her losing interest need to re watch now lol it's such a classic. only watched it and Saul once. preferred Saul tho personally
