I hear you. I'd just like to ask you this perspective, which helps me decide which battles to pick: 

1) we don't have many options with iPhones. Apples corners the market. 
2) with fashion there are millions of optoins.

Same with climate change
1) airplanes are #1 culprit for driving climate change 
2) but we don't have a great alternative (yet).
