Seeing LLM bots proliferate so many social media platforms has my noggin joggin: how has Discord avoided it?

how do you know they're avoiding it? chat messages are so short, there's hardly a chance to recognize something as "not right" unless you look at their entire message history

It's pretty easy to trigger LLMs into saying nonsense though, they tend to lose coherence quickly and make things get weird

thinking about it more, we haven't seen any Zythas/Omnision spam in over a year. you may remember they were supposedly selling private lessons for carding. Discord may have changed how they do phone verification. meanwhile I've perceived a rise in compromised existing accts. whatever scams they're running, I suppose LLMs are not interesting for them.
