Ok, going to summarize the current state of things:

We have been in the process of slimming the node software to bare essentials required to conduct the ceremony since it is very traffic heavy compared to the normal protocol. This involved a lot of surgical dissection of the primary node software. 1/3

Thus, we need to push back the ceremony to be on the safe side, to Friday, to ensure that this altered protocol does not have side-channel leakage. It seems highly unlikely that it would, but an abundance of caution is required.

TL;DR: Like phase one, it seems that Wednesdays are cursed. Friday it is. 3/3

A significant portion of this required more intricate dissection, as the message handling was after the removed mixnet level. After running some simulations, it became clear that the MPC PoT sub-proto would be faster if altered to divide and conquer per exponent, since it no longer had the mixnet's slice-and-dice. 2/3
