I was actually disappointed in the wired 5 levels explainer on zero knowledge proofs – they failed to succinctly bridge over to a raw mathematical example, which I would have hoped for in the highest level, but instead just talked about use cases. I suspect it was Wired's fault rather than Amit, he's brilliant.

We need a Cassie channel to collect such casts of 

„why do they simplify it so much. Isn’t it obvious“

What I admire about Cassie the most is how deep the knowledge and intuitive understanding really goes

I mean that they went into examples instead of the raw math I would expect from two experts discussing what they are and how they work. They briefly talk about randomness and extracting utility out of it (i.e. Random Oracle Model), but didn't hit the points I'd hope for in really explaining it to an audience.

Building up the little fragments of intuition people need to cross the chasm of understanding something that looks so unintuitive on the surface is the _one_ thing I'd hope for out of an expert discussion on how it works.
