what is meaningful consensus for HNS? is it a governance token based vote or just social "enough people are agreeing with this"?

The latter. And those opposed have yet to verbalize what they actually want. It's baffling. They don't want to discuss proposals on Github because "it's centralized," whatever the hell that means. They won't speak up in a Twitter Space. They won't join a call on Discord.

They'll click a poll on Twitter though, and continue projecting and demonizing folks who disagree.

This entire process has been public and transparent. We WANT everyone to chime in and discuss things. I forget that not everyone on the internet is mature or has a level head. It's annoying.
