In 2006. I saw the beginnings of the financial system slipping off the rails, and the failure of fiat unbounded by any tethered entity with scarcity being manipulated by the same voices that screeched they were making finance clear and transparent for all. There was no clarity, no transparency, no real rules. And instead of seeking a return to sanity, the same crooks got a bailout.
