Running nodes is rewarded in the network's token, QUIL. The reward mechanism after mainnet changes dynamics a bit to be better spread out across operators though, this currently can be seen as an incentivized performance testnet, although the rewards carry to mainnet

This sounds really interesting btw, i will def go down the rabbit hole and read the whitepaper. I see you’ve been working on it since 2022. Good luck with the imminent launch.
