A bit of justice has been served as Brett Hankison, one of the cops involved in the murder of Breonna Taylor during a failed drug raid, was found guilty of excessive force on Friday for carelessly firing ten shots into doors and a window, without any visual of an actual target. He fired after Taylor's boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, shot and wounded one of the other home invaders. Although Hankison didn't fire the shots that killed Taylor, he did fire ten shots without any idea of what he was even shooting at. There could of easily been children in the line of fire, and some of the shots went into the neighbors apartment. This is why you are only supposed to fire your weapon when you have an actual target. You don't just randomly fire in the general direction of gunfire, especially not in a residential setting. Apparently this dumbass forgot he is supposed to be protecting and serving. No drugs were recovered and the alleged drug dealing that led to this raid caused much less harm than the no knock raid did.

You might be thinking of another incident. I couldn't find any video of the actual shooting only the aftermath. No knock raid in the middle of the night, dude is woken up and fires at the unknown intruders, they fire back and kill his girlfriend. This cop just unloads into the apartment after he hears shots, with no idea what he is even shooting at. I don't know how the Government on one hand says you have the right to defend yourself and your home but at the same time they allow no knock raids over minor BS. Maybe a no knock raid would be justified for like a violent murder suspect but for petty drug dealing? It puts both cops and civilians in danger for no reason.
