Taiwan is so fascinating.

Many know it supplies 90% of the world’s chip capacity. 

Lesser known: 
- strong democracy (~70% voter turnout) 
- high social trust (one of the lowest covid fatality rates) 

All despite being a military dictatorship less than 40 years ago and being the second-most religiously diverse countries on earth.

How does social trust reflect collective health status?

More adherence to guidelines early on, trust in public officials, etc. They had extremely strict protocols and people didn’t lose their minds over it like in western countries.

Which protocol can stop the spread of something smaller than an electron?

 I did some googling and the 49 confirmed cases is….remarkable to say the lease. Nothing about any special protocols however.
