βCryptoart Question of the Week β Finding a balance between passion and profit is a constant struggle in the arts. Itβs easy to get lost in one and lose sight of the other. How can we balance passion and profit in the art world? Is it possible to do both well? Please tag your replies with #CAQOTW.

I've spent a little under two of the last four years as a full time cryptoartist. The inconsistent sales meant that my need for profit often drove my minting decisions. So I made the choice to get a dayjob. Now I wont be forced to make new drops just because I need the money. I can make sure the project is fully conceived and completed, not rushed. I've learned to never second guess myself out here. But I've also learned it kind of sucks to make minting decisions out of desperation. It has a tendency to be self-sabotaging.
