The UI seems pretty slick, definitely better than Apple Health. I would love if this became a better way to digest my aggregated Whoop / Eight Sleep / Strava data Whoop’s app is great, but it doesn’t have activity maps from Strava, and IME Eight Sleep has the most accurate sleep tracking

I've heard of Cursor, it looks really cool! Unfortunately I like pain and want to stick with my Neovim setup

What I really wish for is programmatic access to the *web interface* of ChatGPT, since they keep the latest APIs locked down under "Previews"... I should be able to communicate with the ChatGPT web app with an action model or something, regardless of their API

After a few hours exploring what's out there, Raycast AI seems to be the best solution for this right now. It lets you send highlighted text to their wrapped ChatGPT w/ keyboard shortcut. The downside is it uses GPT-4, not GPT-4 Turbo. A quick quality test of my past 5 questions gave me noticeably worse answers...

A friend is looking for the best GPT-wrapper to ask a document a question, anybody know of any good ones?

I don't think that's the right assumption - web3 isn't "stuck" in the browser. The browser is the only tool that has aligned incentives w/ decentralization. Web3 can't live in Big Tech's current walled gardens. Long term, UX will keep improving, maybe closer to apps, but it's always going to be a "browser view"

should Amazon acquire Reddit? They'd get: 1) A beefy addition to their advertising business 2) Improved customer trust in product reviews 3) A treasure chest of an interest graph to pair with their existing .com, Prime Video, and Twitch data

Yes! It was actually one of the other AI tools I was thinking of 😄Really good for visual stuff, and their web extension is solid. For text, It runs into the same issue for me. Their AI is -pretty good-, but sometimes I have to play around with the search to find what I'm looking for (if I haven't tagged manually)

Mem is really cool, but I found myself going back to Roam. A lot of the "AI" notetaking tools don't always tag data how I would prefer it's tagged, which leads to me manually tagging things anyways

Replit mobile app's UX is actually so dope. I didn't expect it to be that smooth

ex: I join the Nouns community on Discord. When they shut down their server, what is keeping me on Discord? They don't recommend me other communities - I just churn off the platform entirely (2/2)

Agreed, it's pretty nuts how easy it's been for them to pivot away from being only "for gamers" Although part of me still doubts their ability to make full use of their interest graph. (1/2)

An app directory for Discord is a good thing, but as a dev, it's hard to get excited about building free plugins for a closed platform...
