Portrait of Lethu 19-year-old Lethu, like many young men growing up in townships, faces limited opportunities. Without access to higher education—a common reality due to financial struggles—he, like many others, is funneled into jobs with little room for growth. He is resilient. But it's painful to see youngsters struggle for survival at an age where they are supposed to be on the path to personal growth adding more skills.

I agree so much… I saw him 3 weeks ago and even so he seemed quite happy and has a new job in a better coffeehouse, my heart still aches.

I must say, these kids have many different kind of skills. We would not be able to survive in their environment with our sets of skills. This topic is deep and there seem to be no bottom to it. Economical disadvantage is a difficult and unresolved issue, and while undoubtedly it produces some of the brightest humans, it also breaks many without giving them a slightest chance.
