How to get platformed and funded in LatAm: Step 1: bot your Twitter to 30k+ followers to create the illusion that you have reach in the region. Just rt successful posts, or else you'll be exposed for having no reach. Step 2: Tell a sob story. It doesn't matter that you're from the wealthy upper class. Make up local impact that can't be tracked or confirmed. Step 3: Have your LatAm frens at the EF convince everyone you're the absolute best person in the region despite a lack of business or impact creation experience. Step 4: Lure impact makers by leveraging your connections. Promise platforming and funding opportunities through your insider connections in exchange for being an impact intermediary. This strengthens your network's grip on the region.

Step 5: Present colonized impact in your research, impact reports, and grant applications. Step 6: These lackluster results are just enough for you to deploy your next carrot on a stick. Spin up a story about hundreds of devs, founders, and builders in your network. Assure capital allocators that their network/ app is their preferred place to build, and this is solely because of your convincing. Step 7: Create a lethargic roadmap that allows you to get funded for as long as possible while creating the lowest possible impact. It needs to be convincing so that your "hundreds" of builders also have time to copy pasta their projects across all the other L2s and apps captured by your elite network of intermediaries, gatekeepers and rentseekers.
