Had an interesting conversation in a gc. If you have shilled your art (appropriately and in the right context not a cold shill) to a collector on one of their threads. How many times is too many to show them the same work?

I don’t believe there is a right answer. I can see a piece several times and maybe on the 4th time my mindset is in a different space and I see something different. Or maybe I like it but on the 6th time I see it I had some art sales that I can now afford it. Sometimes things change. That being said I probably would t shill the same piece too often to the same collector.

I agree it’s personal and there are no definitive rules here. But generally speaking and I guess for artists own mental health because it gets exhausting
