I gotchu! So start at the bottom of her hair near the ends and slowly comb it out. If it's long, grab it like you're gonna make a pony tail and comb it out from there. If it's short, press her hair into her head with one hand and comb beneath it. Comb from bottom to top of head always, so much less painful! ❀️

i got 3 tips! 1. get a detangling brush. 2. start at the bottom, holding a few inches at a time and work up. helps keep it from pulling her scalp. 3. detangling spray. when it's really bad, mist some of that on; it really works. i brushed my daughters hair every night when she was younger, you got this.

The one thing I’ve found that works better than anything is having my wife brush my daughter’s hair instead πŸ˜‚

Mine is only 2 so I brush it during the bath with conditioner! She's got pretty long hair but this works like a charm.

Try: - Put her infront of her favourite show on the tv or ipad while you brush - Hold it like a pony tail at the top (so no pulling) and brush from the bottom. - Start slowly teaching her how to brush her own hair. - Have her brush a dolly's hair while you brush hers

Invest in a Tangle Teezer! I've got really long hair that has a tendency to knot up real easy. The Tangle Teezer has saved my sanity and reduced hair breakage. I start brushing from the lower half and then proceed to the upper half. Also using a conditioner after shampooing helps with keeping hair smoother

Hold the hair tightly near roots and brush while doing that, they won’t feel a thing! Once knots are gone, should be sweet!!!

I have long hair. I'd say start in small segments, when you find a knot, hold the hair above the brush so that when you try to brush the knot out she doesn't feel the yanking and pulling.
