If you're in the US, @dwr.eth is right. But for the other 90% of the world, I think there's a real opportunity here. Here's a real example from my own experience: right now, I don’t have access to my debit cards, and my bank back home won’t issue me a credit card. That’s the situation for most people globally, we’re all in the same boat. For Farcon, I’ve been using a debit card I bought with my Warplet USDC. No KYC needed ($1000 limit). I can buy as many as I want. I want to build a /tab around two core ideas: spending crypto (IRL) and friend-to-friend payments. Read on 👇

Spend Crypto: Open /tab > Buy a debit or gift card > Add to Apple Pay > Spend anywhere Pay anywhere USDC is accepted: open /tab > scan > done Smart Yield: Deposit USDC > /tab finds the best yield route (hello AI)> Earn passive income (“magic internet money”) without needing to understand crypto or worry about gas fees I believe there’s real potential for the Farcaster wallet to become the hub for payment services: earning yield, shopping, sending gifts — even integrating e-commerce. And in all of this, distribution is king (via context, trust, and social proof) That, to me, is Farcaster’s most powerful (and underrated) feature today. The future looks bright.

How do you get around KYC? That feels like the biggest roadblock to all this no? (Consider me genuinely stupid on the topic)
