Posting a bit about what it's been like building higherrrrrr. Should be a 5ish minute read Apologies for any typos, just getting thoughts down. Will also address some stuff in here: - WTF is higherrrrrrr? - higherrrrrrrfun vs higheronchain - What's next on the roadmap

First, WTF is higherrrrrrr? In short, we're a new type of meme coin launchpad for coins that "evolve" as the price or market cap of the coin changes. Onchain, the metadata about coins is dynamic, you can change it. We tie those metadata changes to "levels" where the coin changes state based on what the price is using oracles from uniswap pools tied to the coin. This means you can make coins like IDK, where the shrug gets bigger as the price goes up:

When we added this primitive, we realized we could do a bunch of other fun things. One of the first is this concept of "conviction NFTs". Basically, these are NFTs that are minted when you buy a certain amount of supply through the protocol to "prove" onchain that you bought early. Example, here is the pi coin that I bought and is in my wallet. We think these NFTs will also have value, especially for the rare ones.

The platform is VERY early. I built the protocol and platform in about 10 days, launched it, and we have good initial users and a community. The protocol has done about 600 ETH in volume week 1. Check it out here: https://alpha.higherrrrrrr.fun

Why did you name it the same as @higheronchain? This is kind of embarassing, but I churned from farcaster in about January of this year and just kept using twitter. I wasn't tracking the communities on there and had no idea. It wasn't until another coinbase friend hit me up and was like "this is going to be a problem" that I had any idea. Went on a podcast today called the purple pod and talked a bit about my thoughts on how to handle it. Today I changed the logos (which were remarkably similar, probably due to the limited options you have when you name something "higher"). I think that's a start, and if both communities feel the name is an issue, we can brainstorm how to update that too. Reason this wasn't changed sooner is just because I was quite busy with the launch.

I also have been talking to the leaders there and we're talking about setting up a community fund to fund @higheronchain ideas. Very supportive of this. One of the things you can do with no VC funding. I'm actually ready to start sending fee revenue there (we don't have a TON, but we have some, about 25k to date, some of which I can funnel there - I still need to pay some people, RPC bills etc). Just need a multisig address to send it to and we're good. From a pure trademark perspective, I think the higheronchain leaders are ok with the word higher being used. Most trademark stuff really only conflicts when you name things the same thing that are doing the *exact* same thing. We are different comcepts, although both building on base. Changing logos is a good start, we also have 7 r's in our name which is a little silly.

What's next? I finally was able to get some sleep and catch the falling knife that was community after a hype-y launch. Just took a break, because I was really tired after pushing that hard. Time to get back to building: Rough timeline of what I'm thinking: - NFT and profile support in the UI (Tomorrow, Friday at the latest) - Support for ai16z bots for each token deployable by the creator (still scoping, probably this weekend) - Multichain support via layer zero (sometime next week)

If any of this sounds interesting, check out Homepage: https://higherrrrrrr.fun Alpha: https://alpha.higherrrrrrr.fun Github for OSS: https://github.com/Thrive-Point-Group/higherrrrrrr-protocol As always keep building! We (me) are quite supportive of people building on this tech. We just think it's cool and would like to see it deployed

As a side note as a founder and a builder. It's never easy. Especially when its not going well, but also when it is going well. Just different problems. A non-zero part of the whole thing is just not giving up. I love this stuff, and if other builders want to connect, I'm always open - Carl
