Circle is in discussions with Coinbase and Ripple about a possible acquisition. Ripple reportedly made a $4–5 billion offer involving a mix of XRP tokens and cash, but the bid was declined. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong commented that there is currently no announcement to make regarding any such deal.
