really? that surprises me. what are you finding in your area?

Statewide we have variety but it's a big state. In any one are the forests are pretty static. Very small variation in tree or vegetation species. We have good mushrooms. Plenty of tasty boletes. Shaggy manes. Morels. I have found chicken of the woods once.
