I don't share this often, but when @norcalguy asked "What brought you to Photography" it made me think back to my childhood. I had Graves disease (hyperthyroidism), and had my thyroid ablated when I was about 13. I went through a health crisis and even my writing was shaky, and it affected a lot of what I did.... 🧵

I often feel it's what pushed me further into photo. It's a medium I could control in a different way, where I felt out of control of even of my own hands. It's truly a medium that I feel allows me to best express myself and why I'll continue to use it, showing you the world from my eyes.

My mom currently has Graves disease, it's being controlled currently via medication and has been a journey finding a balance. She has tremors in her hands as well so I completely understand. Thanks for sharing this! Btw I love the stories you tell through your photography 🖤 531 $degen
