Snapchain is launching soon! 

It's a blockchain like system that will be 10x - 100x faster than hubs and much more reliable when syncing between Farcaster apps. 

If you don't run a hub, no action is needed. If you do run a hub you will need to:  

- Set up a Snapchain node before Mar 29th 
- Cut over to reading / writing from your node before  Apr 12
- Shut down your hubs after Apr 15th

What if you’re not using Neynar? I tried a few months ago but a bit too complicated for me to understand what I was doing.

What were you trying to build and what was complicated?

I was just trying to set up a hub so my I could preserve casts onchain. I got intimidated from directions. Cancelled after I abandoned.

To their credit Neynar reached out to me and I explained where I got stuck, but they didn’t follow up after that. (Bit of a retard)

I’ve read about Snapchain and am interested. I’ll try again.

Can you bump the chat thread you have with Neynar?

This week was planning on spinning up newsletter again. Base is still working on their wallet, right? My off-line fans won’t be able to handle wallet onboarding. They are older car experts. Has to be mindless

Yeah base smart contract wallet should launch more broadly later this year
