1/ If you're providing feedback on "spam", it's really helpful if you're precise.

Is the cast:

1. Uninteresting — a "low effort reply", i.e. something that's boring or off-topic

2. Spammy — focused on getting something for free that you're not interested in, etc.

3. Malicious — phishing link, harassment

Dan, I really don't think you'll solve the "Twitter Problem" (#1/#2). "Peer 2 Public" spam is solved via moderation & preference management. 
P2P (DMs) or P2Many (DM automation) is solvable. P2Public is not.
How about adding an "I don't like this" option that hides similarly vibed casts?

That exists in the top right menu on casts (three dots, "kebab" menu)
