@orrkislev's project Pobbles on @fxhash has always had a special place in my heart. Not only does it have a playful, hand-drawn quality, and beautiful shading β€” there are some seriously weird little dudes in here. It has the dream logic of a child 🫠

Easy. The entire β€œA Daydream for Libby” collection by @adamgenlight. It reminds me not just of my childhood and the fantastical battles my brother and I would create but also the magical worlds that my two daughters now share in their imaginative exploration. This is one of three I minted through @gmdao and hold.

I'd love to mention Icarus by @spinkdinky - #11 (mine) and #3. It reminds me of the warm summer afternoons spent with my brother at our grandparents' house in southern Italy, when we used to build our own kites with paper and sticks, having a blast flying them and crashing them into the sand dunes πŸͺβ˜€οΈπŸ₯Ή

Gm! Cables and Clouds from @disruptedstar hits the mark. Such great idea: catch some clouds? Somehow it just remembers me of being on the beach when I was young with one kite and trying to control it. Better than kites why not balloons or some clouds.

Ugly Sweaters by Estienne is one of the early projects minted on the beta fxhash platform during its first Christmas in 2021. The outputs always remembered my childhood when ugly sweaters were a standard Christmas present :) https://www.fxhash.xyz/gentk/KT1KEa8z6vWXDJrVqtMrAeDVzsvxat3kHaCE-229224

Koripo #402 by @richpoole The imagination allows us to see what was never intended and gen art provides us these opportunities. As a child I found myself seeing this type of thing more often. In this, I see a kitten

I propose Plottable Era: (II) Medieval by @greweb Kids loves medieval stuff, castles, knights, battles, etc. and I was no exception. Plus this project also gives me somewhat of a Fighting Fantasy illustration vibe, which I also devoured! https://www.fxhash.xyz/gentk/KT1EfsNuqwLAWDd3o4pvfUx1CAh5GMdTrRvr-156752

Pang by @abstractment and @adamberninger The way the marks are made with intention remind me of when I first understood that each mark I made needed to have purpose. Whether that was to create a structure to draw within, or to fill in that structure, the intention of that mark made it necessary. These evoke that IMO

Arbitrary Vessels by @orrkislev I had almost the same bundle of construction toys in my childhood, and it was truly the best time when I tried to construct something out of them https://www.fxhash.xyz/generative/3488

For me it's Sketchbook A by @williamapan I really love the way the textures are made which is reminescent of my old crayons drawing. I also really like the way it looks like a collage. It brings back some fond memories for me. πŸ™‚

Leftovers by artist @qubibi remind me of the time I had with my grandfather as a kid. He was a nature guy and we spent a lot of time outside together, roaming through forests and fields, always collecting little objects like snakehouses or stones. He had a huge minerals collection, that he showed and explained to me.

When I was a kid I used to take apart broken electronic devices and look at the circuits. As a scifi fan, I played with them imagining they were models of futuristic cities. For this piece I wanted to turn those memories of my childhood fantasies into glowing cyberpunk metropolises with circuit-like patterns.
