Freedom is a difficult concept to grasp, yet it is a feeling everyone loves to experience. When transformed into poetry, it seems to come a bit closer. Together on my @alfafrens channel, we wrote this poem using a surrealist cadavre exquis exercise. Each participant received only the last word of the previous sentence as inspiration, without knowing what had been written before. In the end, I assembled everything, discovered what the poem was about, and gave it a title. It is also an exercise in freedom. Hope you enjoy it! It is simple. When time comes, I’ll give you a word. You write a sentence inspired by it but without repeating it. That’s how we build the poems.
