when in the supermarket always think about how disconnected it all feels . food packed in plastic . vegetables come from far away places . and all of this is a very recent phenomenon in human history . yet completely normal now . some years ago was staying in France in farming country . on the weekends would buy cheese from a Dutch goat farmer . we always shook hands . knowing these same hands made the cheese was going to eat was immensely satisfying and grounding .

I also donβt like the supermarket experience. It drives me crazy that everything is packed in plastic.

there's the originalunverpackt not far from me . but one can't get everything there and can be very expensive . my friend jasmine has a box of vegetables delivered to her WG every few weeks from a farmer . wished there was more of these things . its an ongoing struggle .

I used to have a box delivered to me as well. But it is expensive. And still, if you order things that are not vegetables and fruits, they might come in plastic.

this particular instance is a farmer from brandenburg . they pay 15 euros for each box . there's never any plastic . once and a while they get apple juice and this not sure what it comes in .
