yeah maybe a bit longer? in the early days it was just me and @cameron @-ing each other

I got here around March/April 2022 so I think 2.25 - 2.5 years is about right

(sometimes i miss those days haha but happy to see the protocol growing)

What do you miss about those days tho

i sometimes miss old Farcaster for 2 main reasons:

1. my friends casted more

2. all of the founder conversations that happen in groupchats happened in public

I’ve always ebbed and flowed on FC

I’m here on the internet for the marathon, not a sprint

that means I gotta adjust my energy to how I’m feeling

Why did they stop casting as often tho

I noticed early last month too that you weren’t casting as much as now too and as interactive 

It was like you were trying to process the sudden increase in engagement lol

Founders

Part of it is risk profile
(asymmetric downside to being wrong in public on Farcaster now)

Part is algo changes

Part is phases of life + startups (need to find PMF, have kids, etc)

But imo biggest part is /founders imo broadened from a small group of hyperfocused startup people to more farmy stuff so we lost signal

how do we bring back #2? why isn't that happening in /founders anymore?
