What’s the dumbest situation you’ve ever been in?

As in office space style “I have 4 bosses that all want conflicting things and have no end in sight” type of dumb

Keeping it intentionally vague, but dealing with people who have a myopic understanding of what they are asking for, and sadly happen to have more power than they should, so you have to cater to their whims even though what they're asking for will never materialize.
