Still, the defense is pretty weak when the models are just an OpenAI API and all the startups do is writing prompt templates.

Definitely, I think my presumption is that you either build out non AI moats in parallel (sales/BD, complementary product suite, implementation, etc) or else you die

In the time it takes Adobe to launch an AI product (which lets be real probably looks like a chatbot where you do your own prompting), I should’ve launched 10 iterations of my product so I can solve the same problem 10x better

That makes sense. I am really curious about what happens when incumbents integrate it fully e.g. Adobe. Is that an end to all small niche gen AI startups? 

Or Unity integrates it and what happens to gaming asset startups over the medium term
