I feel like this is the etsy vs. amazon defense - if openAI is the general amazon, the hyper-niche hyper-focused etsy makes many just by catering to a super specific user group

Definitely, I think my presumption is that you either build out non AI moats in parallel (sales/BD, complementary product suite, implementation, etc) or else you die

Still, the defense is pretty weak when the models are just an OpenAI API and all the startups do is writing prompt templates.
