I wonder what could have possibly happened in history for Congress to have passed laws to create these ‘so-called “independent regulatory agencies”’ in the first place… https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/02/ensuring-accountability-for-all-agencies/

oh and also this "In American law, the unitary executive theory is a Constitutional law theory according to which the President of the United States has sole authority over the executive branch.[1] It is "an expansive interpretation of presidential power that aims to centralize greater control over the government in the White House".[2]" And here we are. Based on the recent rulings of the Supreme Court, it will be interesting to see how far they can push this. And first time I've seen a note like this on a wikipedia page lol https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unitary_executive_theory#:~:text=In%20American%20law%2C%20the%20unitary,government%20in%20the%20White%20House%22.

I mean c'mon -- what could go wrong if we just let one person decide all the laws? I'm sure it'll be fine. But it might be helpful for some folks to go see Hamilton -- I'd say go read the Constitution and the Federalist Papers but that ain't happen' but maybe the new Chair of the Kennedy Center could arrange a performance? Also -- do we need to burn the whole thing down for this part of the simulation to be over? asking for a fren who is exhausted already
