After 24 hours with a Top 8… my feed is still too repetitive 👀 I definitely see the casts from who I’m following interspersed with channel casts too tho which is great! Expanded to a Top 16 and will report back 🫡

this has turned into a funny A/B experiment of who Cameron finds boring. 😈 His Top 8/Top 16 would not be the same as mine fwiw. I hope this becomes part of the conclusion: heterogeneous preferences (even in one person over time), plus, diversity leads to more engagement overall 1/2

one challenge in the trial is there’s a huge recency bias in my selection process. Like it’s just as valid to say that it’s a list of who I’ve seen a cast I liked from them in the past 24 hours so I remember their pfp for selecting the next cohort lolol (this is also how I make most of my dietary choices)
