I think this meta is here to stay, but tipping isn’t actually what’s magical: it’s the ability to send (any) assets via text message standard: [amount] [ticket]. Simple but not easy to execute without account abstraction, local inflationary coins, and app composability.

Right now yes, but how many times have I wished I could text someone via WhatsApp $10 USD for dinner? What we’ve done is allow us to do this direct on social media feeds.
