My husband and I have been together for quite a long time, almost 20 years. And we are also childfree (we didn't know that word at the time, we just decided that we didn't want children). Or rather, he was a childfree, and I loved him so much that I decided to share his life position. Youth has passed and the last few years I realize that I wasted my life on someone else's dreams. The realization has come that I will never have children. For health reasons I will not be able to give birth and where to in my old age. I will have to live as it is and regret the missed opportunities. I continue to love my husband, we have an established life, we quarrel rarely, we value each other. But I'm still sorry for the way things turned out.
