If you wanted to get really crazy you could do quadratic tipping We've already talked about accumulating allowances over a 2-7 day window, so what if repeat tips to the same account within that time window were also applied quadratically, ie every unit tipped after the first unit eats 2n-1 marginal units of allowance

That sounds like a good idea. However, people might also tip each other because they genuinely like each other's casts or are friends! Additionally, how about this? Providing a quadratic function limit for accounts that continuously exchange 50% or more of their daily allowances (perhaps for 3 days or more)

That's true, any rule is gonna have trade-offs, the goal is to find one that improves the situation a lot while still being easy to understand for newcomers. Quadratic decay is already a big idea to digest on its own 😵💫
