This is another kind of crazy one, and it actually makes tipping more PVP, but I'm nerdsniping myself about it because I think it actually might be like asking the community to solve non-computable NP problems (something something detecting cyclical graphs): What if you could detect tipping rings and divert the tips to someone else by identifying the members of the ring? We could call it RECYCLE because you're breaking the cycle 😎 We could then create a leaderboard of people whose tips have been recycled. Eg RECYCLE 200 DEGEN @jacek > @wake.eth > @cadillion => @0xen would steal 200 DEGEN from the jacek-wake-cadillion ring and gift it to 0xen

You started thinking of this because with quadratic voting the solution for farmers is tipping rings, right, p0 -> p1 -> ... -> pn -> p0, where n == timeframe? Intuitively I don't think this is particularly hard to detect... but I've never done anything similar so who knows 😅

Maybe start giving out $degen grants to researchers that publish/cast/blog solutions to tipping? The $degen experiment is novel - could maybe lead to some interesting research.

20 $degen Partner with Arkham and I think you’ll have something here That said. Can the claims withstand the burden of proof? You’d have to establish the sound definition of a tipping ring and work from there to snipe folks… it sounds fun to me!

I still don't understand by what you mean 😮‍💨 Wish they could be a layman understanding of the system you intend to build but either ways, if ever it's implemented I just hope it favours even those who couldn't and haven't had a chance to stake yet 5 $DEGEN Tipping should be for all and not just favorizm, good content deserves good tipping but many with good content don't even get the chance to be tipped and cause of that it turns them into degen zombies that's what I call them alot where filled in paid group

Hey Colton - any thoughts in how we could expand degen tipping to reddit’s wallstreetbets + other subreddits? I feel like the community there is no different than degens and given that reddit is quite open, obtaining data to support tipping via degen could work there.

I’m currently tipping the majority of my tips to @farthercast - a product I built. But I’m using them to give out to users, burn some and lock some. This is a cool idea - I just wanna check if I’m breaking the rules?

Idk how many of you have watched this movie before but the concept is just simply mind-bleuing and will do more social good than the self-tipping PvP. Give the user 3 same allocation of tips(A,B,C) to be given out to 3 different Warpcasters who've not received your tips before on daily basis. The more your recipients give away their tips to 3 different Warpcasters that they haven't tipped before, the higher you go up in ranking (hence higher tipping allowance) and you can't tip the same user twice unless 1 of the initial tips(A, B, C) finds it way back to you after 21 days.
