First cast and thread. Why will science benefit from platforms like this one? - Coming from the field of cell therapy for hematology and oncology patients.

Material transfer agreements needed for tools that I had in my previous institution - legal department would take months to go through these so I'm better off generating the material anew.

For people doing synthetic biology which cloning tool and services do you use? I have been a fan of SnapGene and Twist bioscience for some years - are there better alternatives?

Hi guys, I recently joined Farcaster and was looking for people interested in the same fields as I am - I'm a hematologist and oncologist resident in Germany. I mostly did research on tumor immunology. How about you guys?

In this organised society called the immune system, there are cells that take on prominent roles - none are really accepted as unique nor exquisite to a specific cell type, but broadly accepted main roles.

The immune system is a common denominator in both cancer and autoimmune diseases. 1 - It constantly surveils, to promptly eliminate cells that deviate from their intended programs (cancer). 2 - Ensures that said surveillance and elimination events do not blow-out of proportions (autoimmunity).

Hi everyone! Wanted to give a shout-out here to find people working in bio-medicine. I spent the last decade working with T cells and antibodies and will start developing a project with frequent updates/discussions here on farcaster. Looking forward to connecting with anyone interested in the field!

This year, I get to start working on a research project that aims at using T cells to deliver immunosuppression to inflammation sites.
