Gm 😊 As bull markets heat up, we drop our guards. Here are some tips to keep you safe: - periodically go through and use revoke dot cash to revoke permissions from sites - when using any protocol, use your bookmark or go to the official twitter and find the official link. NEVER GO TO GOOGLE TO FIND A SITE - I know we are all staking and using our farcaster wallets, but get a hardware wallet asap and start using it - don't click links that people send you. Don't take that zoom call. - SLOW DOWN - USE multiple wallets for different things -- operating out of 1 big wallet exposes everything in it - be mindful of what you share with others, let's all stay safe together 🫂🤍

These are good tips, and as someone who has had her hot wallet drained before after years of being very careful I know it only takes ONE mistake of attention or trust to get taken advantage of. But I admit to having a difficult time with implementing a multi-wallet strategy since so many things seem dependent on verification of identity through what wallet hold what assets (like my FC wallet with Moxie and Degen). What do you do for things where you must keep things that probably should be in a hardware “archive” wallet that you rarely touch but must be in the same one you use for social network identity that is ripe for compromise?

I prob have 30 wallets. Wallet diversification is probably the single best way to keep yourself safe. Example: - farcaster wallet - only uses degen, ham, moxie - gambling wallet - only interacts with pump dot fun - art wallet - only art If you do get compromised, then only that wallet is affected. You can't guarantee that you'll never make a mistake, but you can mitigate the damages with healthy practices.

Separate art wallet might work for collectors, but if you are minting you need to do it all on the same wallet and that is also tied to social media stuff in most cases, like Rodeo/Zora and FC integration. I haven’t figured out how to avoid using one wallet for multiple things when identity is tied to it. I wish you could have wallets for identity and others for verification of assets.

Thanks! I will look into this closer later today. Right now not quite groking how to use it in daily life since it might be too late to chang the wallet I have associated with everything now, but it sounds like it might work for what I would like to be able to do going forward with new things.
