This is from the CEO of Fiver This is why we need universal basic income. In this day, you must be exceptional. What happens to all the ordinary people? Ai is going to if they haven't already, take their jobs. Mediocrity is not going to be good enough anymore. https://x.com/michakaufman/status/1909610844008161380?t=HXH_muROHf70EA8Y32tOLg&s=19

I don’t think that happens in our lifetime but if AI does go full go I think UBI would be good, or goods are just free. I’m against it currently but can see an AI led world where it’s appropriate

Ai eliminating easy tasks is more impactful in ways we haven't even really seen yet. Family doctors may get eliminated in favor of amazon meds. Its really insane when I think about it but it's here. If you're not someone who is doing something unique or highly qualified, I would be trying to learn more about ai and how I can use it to benefit me professionally.

absolutely but it will take over in phases of taking over jobs and people will shift what they do accordingly but I think it’s a still awhile away from taking everyone’s job. I’ve been doing a lot with AI professionally and it’s really awesome for sure and I think people need to embrace it instead of being afraid of it as you said.

One step ahead on this. I've been building my mini app using claude code for the most part. The most valuable skills/talents in the future will involve creativity and a touch of human spirit. I don't think AI will truly be able to replicate that, even if it becomes sentient. You want to succeed in the New Age, don't just study AI. Study psychology.
