ASK ME ANYTHING Alright ITAP fam. 3 hour flight to Texas. Iβve been a photographer for 14 years. It is not my main source of income. I reside in Los Angeles. I mainly shoot landscapes and cityscapes. Ask anything you want to know. Will answer anything as long as itβs appropriate.

Cool to hear it's not your dayjob! How do you balance dayjob and photography? How did you start monetizing your photos and do you ever get shit for not being a full time photographer? Sorry that's 3 questions π

Will need to break this up. Balance with everything is key. Work, family and photography are my big 3 buckets in life. Kids have taken time away from photos but I make it a point to still get out for my own sanity. Wife and I able to balance our own stuff separately as well which makes a difference

Never once got put down for it. Those who do arenβt secure enough with what they do themselves. My reasoning for not going full time is id have to support my passion with other types of photography I am not as fond of and essentially it would take some flame away from the photography I do love

Monetization started with selling prints / licensing from my website which I still do today. Occasional money from contest wins. Biggest game changer has been NFTs and crypto. Iβve been fortunate enough to bring in more in this space in the last 2 years than the last 14 years In trad methods
