what i really like about seneca, hence having him as my profile picture, is the fact that seneca contributed to a pivot in stoic philosophy. he helped show that stoic philosophy wasn't an abstract mental exercise to attain perfection. rather he interpreted the philosophy in a way that could be applied to modern life.
