the meaning of freedom to existentialists is the definition i feel most drawn to:

simplicity is the ultimate sophistication | building /far-reach ✨

human beings possess absolute freedom, meaning they are not determined by external factors or pre-existing essence, and are therefore responsible for creating their 'own' meaning and purpose in life.

meaning that you are first born without a purpose or an essence and you choose/create your essence through your choices

therefore the only thing you can do is to take full responsibility of your choices and steer your life towards a destination that is authentic and morally acceptable to you.

and remember, the way you live is what you declare to the world: I think this is the correct way to live.

and that way you might even help others find their essence and understand their freedom. 

you are not only responsible from the consequences of your choices in your own life, but you also need to think about the consequences that others might face if they take your choices to guide themselves.

but freedom is not an easy load to bare as you are faced with infinite choices, with infinite possibilities of the self. what seems to offer you many possibilities in life actually become your burden. 

you need to create an authentic life, but there are so many ways to choose!
