this week I've been working with @dish on a small project 

jack and I have collaborated before - working remotely - but decided to spend time working on this together, in person, for a week or two. 

goal is to ship the MVP

remote work is awesome, I've gotten to collaborate with so many cool people all around the world and have no intention of stopping that. but there is something really important about sitting face to face and communicating directly. so much gets lost in translation, being able to talk it out and shoot ideas back and forth

First Draft Club

This week I wrote an article about my cousin's three year old kid battling brain cancer. He's currently at St Jude's in Memphis and is coming back for Thanksgiving. The town invited him to do the coin toss at the annual Powderpuff football game! This article will also potentially be printed in my hometown's local magazine.

also - on a different note I've gotten to know jack a bit over the past few months and have heard about his cousin, River who is currently going through treatment at St. Judes in Memphis for Leukemia

he's an adorable kid, and he and his family are going through an incredibly difficult moment. Jack has been crowdfunding on Warpcast to support them since I started following him.
