- Thermal Reflections -

One of my all-time favorite images was captured at sunrise at the Mammoth Terraces in Yellowstone. The reflection in the thermal pools and the fact that I was actually completely alone here was an incredible experience. It is always a bit crazy to be alone at sunrise in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. I am always very focused on shooting, but bear spray is at my feet as my ears listen intently to any noise around me...always adds an extra  feeling of being in the wild. 

This was collected by Caktux back in 2021 for those of you who remember those early days...
