Since @nomadicframe reminded me it was Shark Week, I thought I’d share a super rare shot of a shark swimming in the shore break… this 6’-8’ Galapagos shark actually washed up on the sand at one point, before kicking with its tail to get back into the water.

Mahalo, Brynn… still wish I’d managed to snap when it was swimming toward me in a wave right at the water’s edge, half in and half out of the wave. I was in the process of switching between video and photo and missed it!
