I would say most things people buy on-chain are useless, but that's because the meta has become making quick money rather than fair and equitable distribution of proper art and literature.

I'm going to ETH Prague. If the ticket were a soul-bound NFT worth the ticket price, I would see that as a valid way to distribute tickets using a decentralised platform. Also I would rather own my ebooks as NFTs utilising ipfs rather than trusting Amazon to host and distribute, taking rather large royalties.

NFTs should be cheap, unless they have real world value that is worth the money. I see them as a way to buy collectable art that I want to keep rather than an investment.

About a week later we went to an island, where I got hit in the face with a coconut and broke my nose. I was only about 5 at the time, but that was one of my most memorable vacations.

I went to Thailand with my aunt as a kid, and one morning all she could say was "I'm fine" when we spoke to her. She was rushed to the hospital, leaving us kids at home to process what just happened. It wasn't long before my brother dropped his instant ramen, getting 2nd degree burns on a large part of his legs.

I used Hic et Nunc, and watched in real time as the guy who made it wiped it off the face of the earth because he was mad objkt took the name he gave to Tezos nfts. It wasn't long before people took the entire website by using forks and mirrors That was my first lesson in the beauty of open source technology.
