One thing I find myself doing all too often is picking something up, not knowing where to put it, then putting it somewhere else to get to “later.”

Not only do I get a false sense of accomplishment by feeling like I organized a bit, but future me ends up finding things in the most random places.

father, husband, css golfer, ux engineer, silently defining variables as /sdv sdv.wtf

I do the equivalent with tasks, add them to a to do list that literally never gets done or even looked at after the end of the day.

The next day I do the same thing, on a different sheet of paper for future me to find a bunch of lists to be tackled 🤷🏻‍♀️
