Just got back from this amazing city. I am SHOCKED that technologists are sleeping on this gem of a city. Low crime, great food, great weather, beautiful people, great culture, no income tax, less expensive than Bay area, etc etc. I am moving here and nothing will stop me

So then, spirituality is a subjective state of consciousness and since the subjective consciousness might be the primary actor in reality, the new age of knowledge is one where the subjective might even be MORE important than the objective.

Quantum research is pointing at consciousness as the primary actor in reality. Without consciousness (an observer) reality exists in a state of possibilities. It's only with consciousness that reality becomes definite. Check out the schrodingers' cat thought experiment.

What comes after is a synthesis of scientific inquiry with objective truth and subjective truth on equal footing. How does spirituality come into the picture? Spirituality is a subjective state of consciousness that with time shows fruit in the objective world.

To elaborate, I think we are moving into a new age where enlightenment objectivism (where there is no meaning to the universe, we are random accidents, and the only truth is that which can be measured objectively in a lab) is coming to an end.

I've come such a long way with spirituality this year. From complete faith in the divine, to serious doubt, to apathy, to a recommitment with more maturity and humility than before. My sense now is that spirituality is simply the way that we interact with what is real but (just) beyond understanding ✨

Hmmm, I think anything either party's officials say is best assumed to be either obfuscated (with faulty statistics or biased data) or just straight up lying. So, glad you fact checked this! But, im curious what KINDS of jobs were created and also how much IMMIGRATION went up in those years. Supply of labor vs demand of labor is important and matters in a way that I think most people don't think about. If 10 million jobs were created, but immigration went up by 20 million, Then the amount of jobs available actually went down in a given year! Food for thought

I think it's in everyone's best self interest to find what they can do obsessively for 8 - 10hrs a day (i.e. fun), find a way to monetize it via the internet (not only for the income but because money is an important signal for quality) and then distribute it digitally on the internet.

I think being of service without expecting anything in return is kind of like creating value from nothing. You took energy inside you and transformed it into utility and love for someone else. Somehow the universe gives you more than what you gave (even more energy, more love, etc) ❤️
