I mean thats great that you test your Solidity cuz that shit is crazy important to get right, but truly, the UI is deeply intertwined conceptually as part of the app from the eyes of the user. Every line of code is a best guess until you have a good test. Every single one. Guesswork is not good engineering

I've been seeing a worrying trend as I go deeper and deeper into the React community and peruse repos: Components with loads of logic but zero tests. I understand that it might seem like an ok practice to do this since, how do you test front end code other than bullshit Selenium? MVVM, baby. MVVM is the way.

Indeed. When I posted that "Discipline is the deepest form of self love" there is in that the ability to have selfless love because alot of our suffering comes from letting our ego take over. Discipline means nurturing yourself over selfish short term whims. This can be extended to others.
