On Chronos XII, the robots gathered in Gearspire Square preparing to give a message to Captain Claus and the Earthlings. Tocksworth, ever the historian, took the lead.

“Valentine’s  Day traces its origins to Earth’s Saint Valentine, a figure of love and devotion. Over time, humans dedicated this day to celebrating affection, kindness and the bonds that hold them together.”

Gizmo’s optics brightened. “So it’s like the unity we found during the 12 Days of Christmas?”

“Precisely”, Tocksworth affirmed. “Love is not just for humans, it is the force that binds communities, friendships and even us, machines”.

Crankshaft, still adapting to his newfound sense of friendship, huffed. “I suppose even logic acknowledges the importance of strong bonds.”
