Personal thoughts of giving or tithing ahead of "Giving Tuesday" It's awesome. 10 of 10 would recommend. Sharing your time, talent, or treasure as they say is a great way to make a meaningful impact in your community. We have always tithed to our church and a small cohort of local non-profits, rather than spreading our gifts, we've focused our giving on a half dozen organizations that we have a personal connection with beyond writing a check. Typically these are local or regional non-profits, not surprisingly focusing on agriculture or the environment, who have relatively small budgets, and where our gift is making a meaningful impact. That's our preference, yet there is absolutely no right or wrong of how you choose to support folks doing "good work". Some years our gifts are more substantial, some years they are less, the reality of growing food and having varied income from season to season, and I'm a firm believer in no gift is too small. Yeah no gift is actually too small, the thought to give weighs more cause itโ€™s selfless to want to give genuinely
